Hill Head Farm Shop and Tea Rooms first started of in Smithy Street South Shields but when the lease of the building changed hands to be come Nobles Amusement Arcade then they moved the tea rooms to a new location on the top of Cleadon hills with a fantastic view on a clear day you can see miles up the coast to Northumberland and miles down south in fact you find it hard to believe that you are only minuets from a main town and not bang in the middle of the English countryside. Inside the tea rooms which is set in a country barn style you will find a wide choice of homemade food and cakes on sale and selection of country fare like jams and honey etc to take home, if its a sunny day I like nothing better than to get one of their ice cream dishes and sit outside on the patio watching the world go by (my young son likes to go so he can feed the horses in the field next door).
