Lindisfarne Castle stands on the top of the hill looking over the bay at Holy Island, from a distance the castle looks very old "building work started in the 1500's" but the building you see today was converted into a Edwardian country house by the architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. The castle can now be booked for civil wedding ceremonies for those brides looking for a dramatic setting for their big day
