Once a very popular bar the Bizz bar in Ocean Road has now
closed down, when I first had a pint in there may years ago it
was called the Balancing Eel which was a traditional type of pub
and had a few rooms that if I remember correctly where named
after characters from Alice in Wonderland and a small bar room
that was under the ground (this was later covered over with the
dance floor) this all changed when it became the Bizz bar and
all rooms where knocked into one to give it a more of a wine /
party bar feel with a DJ and dance floor. |
