RE-OPENS
AS SHIELDS FIRST GAY NIGHT CLUB
Workmen today started painting South Shields Lighthouse a bright shade of pink in preparation for the opening of the "Pink Plaice" the first gay night club in the town. The owners of club say that they have spent over £150000 on new state of the art disco lights and sound system and have also converted the top half into a 4 star restaurant with outside seating in the summer, they have also just removed the old bulb and replaced it with a giant pink one which will light up the sky for miles on the nights the club is open. The
Sanddancer Gazette has teamed up with the Pink Plaice with a special offer of free admission on the opening night on
Thursday 23rd December, all you have to do is get dressed up as one of your favourite characters from the village people and bring along a copy of this story.
