Located next to many other Indian Takeaways Spice Central Boldon Lane stands out as one of the best Indian Takeaways in South Shields run by the Shah family with a large range of curries to choose from like all you old favourite traditional curries, Punjab dishes, chefs specials (I have to say that their railway lamb special is one of my favourite curries, try it with tikka chicken instead of lamb) and also a selection of meals for healthy eating that have not been cooked in ghee. if you call in to pick up you curry (as I do to get a 10% of the price) make sure you also pick up one of their menus which have a page full of discount vouchers for things like a free side dish, free main course, student discount, discount for the emergency services, beat the clock and lots more, these offers tend to change all the time so keep your eyes out for a deal that suits you. Another plus point for this takeaway is that they open from 5.30pm which is handy if your hungry and you do not want to wait till 7pm like a lot of other places.
